Change is a constant in China

China would not be China, if the focus of things didn’t change here what appears to be randomly and often, it’s cultural and adds fuel to the general speed of development. We are past the party leadership elections, and their influence has now moved to the back burner. The recent market reports from Bain and McKinsey that claim the Chinese are the largest luxury consumer group in the world has added greater focus to the activities of luxury brands both inside and outside of the country, and highlights a point we have made in previous issues of Luxury Insights China that Chinese consumers have continued to spend money, but just not where they have in the past…
